Michele Howe has proven in this book that she truely understands the many facets of homeschooling. She shows extreme insight and understanding for the many challenges that face a homeschooling mom. She deals with intricate issues facing many different kinds of people in many different situations. Best of all, she illustrates how these issues are met head on at the throne of Grace and how wonderful blessings result.

Each story, scripture, prayer and quote take about five minutes to “digest” yet the refreshment lasts and lasts. Reading these stories makes you feel like you’ve had a conversation and prayer session with other homeschooling moms. After I’ve juggled books, papers, and the needs of two homeschooled kids, it’s especially nice to have everything in one small book for a thoughtful devotion.

Author and mother Michele Howe and her husband have homeschooled each of their four children. Her experience as a homeschool mom shines through in this wonderful prayer resource. The book is filled with stories, scripture passages, devotional prayers and inspirational quotations. Homeschooling moms will find this an excellent addition to their devotional and prayer libraries, written by a mom who understands the absolute importance of a commitment to an active prayer life in the homeschooling process.

I couldn’t live without this book. This is the best book I have purchased in years. The short stories, the prayer, the bible verse; it all hits home. Everyday, I can’t wait to rest for one hour, open this book and get refreshed. Finally, someone who understands us homeschool moms and what we go through. God bless Ms. Howe.
